Cropping is perfect for selecting just the right section of a track you need for your game. Undo the cropping by clicking on the “Reset Crop” Button. Fine tune the crop by clicking and dragging the handle bars on either side of the highlighted region. Now if you click on the Play button only this selected region of the track will play. To Crop a track in the Playlist, just Left Click on the Wave Form of a track and DRAG it to the left or right. Done!ĥ.) Crop Tracks - Often you want just a part of the track to play. Click on the Add to Playlist button next to the track and select your Playlist of choice. Simply click on the Search Bar, type in what you’re looking for. Once you have found the Track you want to add to the Soundboard, simply click the “+” button next to the Track, select the Playlist you want to add it to, and the track will be appear ready for useĤ.) Add Tracks from the Search Bar - If you know the track you want to add, you can also add it directly from the Search bar from the top. The Side Bar lets you easily sort through your purchased audio library by audio type and category. The Playlist will load and you’ll be able to start adding tracks to itģ.) Add Tracks from the Side Bar - Click on the Green “+” Icon on the left hand side (see the image above) and you’ll open up the Side Bar. Click it and go through the steps of naming your Playlist.Ģ.) Loading a Playlist - On either the Left or Right Soundboard, click the drop down window and select the Playlist you just created. Get some tracks from “Browse” and get access to the Soundboard!ġ.) Create a Playlist - First, let’s Create a Playlist! On the left hand side you’ll spot a Paper icon which is used to create your first Playlist. If you don’t see it then you likely don’t have any tracks on BattleBards yet. Sometimes you want just the explosion and not the wind up of that fireball spell. So perhaps you begin playing the Dwarf Temple Score we all love and as the chanting begins, an Eye Monster makes a surprising appearance from the shadows. Play sounds simultaneously - You can play tracks on top of each other. Play Sounds Sequentially (A) - Want to load up a bunch of tracks and just play them one at a time as you would on any standard media player? Just click the “ Play All” button Just click on the Play button of any track Play Sounds Independently - Each track in a Playlist can be played independently. This allows for loading up to two Playlists at once! Perhaps you have your scene scripted out on one Playlist and on the other you want to bring up all of the cool combat special effects that you frequently use. These Playlists can then be loaded into the Soundboard to organize your audio for your session.ĭual Playlists - You’ll noticed there are two sets of Playlists on screen. Whether you need random background scores, specific sound effects queued up for a massive monster fight, or you’re customizing your own scene and need specific audio at your fingertips, Playlists will be of great aid to get you ready. Organizing your tracks into playlists will help you to prep for your upcoming sessions. Like any other standard media playlist, its purpose is to organize tracks of similar relevance together. Using the Soundboard starts with The Playlist.
